Privacy for our plugins

Last updated September 27, 2026

This page covers this website, and the requests a WordPress site makes to it when it runs one of our plugins. What each plugin does with information on your own site is explained on that plugin's privacy page, linked below. It's written for people, not lawyers. If anything here is unclear, ask us.

Who we are

The plugins and this site are run by A&J Computers Inc, 5200 Dallas Hwy STE 200 PMB 229, Powder Springs, GA 30127. You can reach us at 770-514-1640 or help@ajcomputers.com.

We don't sell information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else.

This website

  • No cookies, analytics or tracking. The site doesn't set cookies, and it doesn't load fonts, scripts or anything else from other companies.
  • Server logs. Like almost every website, our web server records basic details of each request, such as IP address, time, the address requested and the browser or software making the request. We use them to keep the site secure and working.
  • Not in search engines. We ask search engines not to list these pages.
  • Links to our main site (ajcomputers.com), for example the contact page, are covered by that site's own privacy policy.

When your site checks for updates

Our plugins update from this site instead of from wordpress.org. When WordPress checks for plugin updates, each of our plugins on your site asks this site for its current release details and their signature. It remembers the answer for up to six hours, so it asks at most a few times a day. Pressing Check again in WordPress asks straight away. When you install an update, your site also downloads the new package from here.

Those requests are made by WordPress itself. Like any request WordPress makes, they include your site's address and its WordPress version, and they come from your web server's IP address. Our server logs record those details, as described above.

That's all. Update checks send no licence key, no usage statistics, and nothing about your site's content, users or visitors.

AJC Form Guard's policy check

AJC Form Guard can take its tuning from a signed policy we publish, so we can adjust spam filtering on every site we look after at once. To do that, a site running it asks this site for the policy twice a day. The request carries the same details as an update check, and nothing else.

A site's administrator can turn this off by adding define( 'AJC_FORM_GUARD_NO_POLICY', true ); to wp-config.php.

AJC Site Health's report

AJC Site Health is how we keep an eye on the sites we maintain. A site running it regularly sends a report over https to A&J Computers. The report lists the site's address, its WordPress and PHP versions, each plugin and theme with its version, any update that is waiting and what is blocking it, and, if Wordfence is installed, how its last scan went and what it found.

It never includes posts, pages or other content, users or email addresses, form entries or orders, files, or anything about visitors. The plugin only sends: we can't log in to your site, run anything on it or change it through Site Health.

The plugins on your site

The plugins themselves run on your WordPress site, and apart from Site Health's report, what they store or send while doing their job stays between your site and the services you choose. A&J Computers doesn't receive your form submissions or your email.

  • AJC Form Guard: what it stores against each form entry, and the optional services that would receive visitor details if you turn them on.
  • AJC Graph Mailer: how your site's mail travels through your own Microsoft 365, and what the plugin keeps in its log.
  • AJC Site Health: exactly what its report contains, what it keeps on your site, and what it never touches.

Your choices

  • Removing a plugin stops its update checks, and AJC Form Guard's policy checks or AJC Site Health's reports along with them.
  • You can ask what our server logs hold about your site's requests. Call 770-514-1640 or email help@ajcomputers.com.

Changes and questions

When we add a plugin, or change what the update checks, policy checks or Site Health's report send, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
